ސަހަރޯއެވެ! މިފަހަރު ނުރައްކަލާ ކުރިމަތިވީ ދުއްވާ އެއްޗަކުން ނޫނެވެ. މަގުގެ އެކޮޅު މިކޮޅަށް ބަލައިލުމަށްފަހު، ދުވާރުން ބޭރުގައި (ކާނުމަތީގައި) ބަހައްޓަން ނެގިފައި ކާނުޖާލިގަނޑަކު ނުޖެހުނެވެ. ހުރިގޮތަށް ފައިބައިގެން ދިޔައީ ކާނު ތެރެއަށެވެ. ލިބުނު ސިހުމާއެކު އަންހެން ކުދީންގެ އާންމު ސަޤާފަތާ އެއްގޮތަށް ހަޅޭއްލަވައިގަނެވުނެވެ. އޭރު އެ ކުއްޖާ އޮތީ ކާނުމައްޗަށް ވެއްޓިފައެވެ.
އެކުވެރިޔާ ވަރަށް ހުޝިޔާރެވެ. ވަގުތުން އެހީތެރިކަމުގެ އަތް އެ ކުއްޖާއާ ދިމާއަށް ދިއްކޮށްލައިފިއެވެ. އެ އަތުގެ އެހީއާއެކު އެ “އަނދަވަޅުން” ސަލާމަތް ވެއްވިއްޖެއެވެ. އެހެންނަމަވެސް ފައިގެ ވޭން ގަދައެވެ. ނަގާ ދިލައިން ކެތްކުރެވޭ ވަރެއް ނުވެއެވެ. އަޅާފައިވާ ކާނުޖާލިގަނޑުން އުފެދިފައިވާ “އާނގު” ތެރެއަށް އެ ފަކީރުގެ ފައި، ފައިބައިގެން ދިޔައީ ހުރަހަށް ނިކުމެފައި ހުރި ދަނގަޑުތަކުން، ކަށިމައްތިންނާއި ކުޑަކަޅުވާ މަސްގަނޑުން ލޭކޮށައިލާފައެވެ. އެއްދިމާއަކުން ތަންކޮޅެއް ފުނަށް ވެސް ދަނގަނޑެއް ވަދެފައި ހުއްޓެވެ. ފައިން ލޭ އޮހެމުންދެއެވެ. އެހެންކަމުން އަރުވާނެ ކާރެއްވެސް އެވަގުތު މައްޗެއް ނުވިއެވެ. ހޮސްޕިޓަލަށް ގެންދިޔައީ އެ ވަގުތު އެ މަގުން ދިޔަ ސައިކަލަކަށް އަރުވައިގެންނެވެ.
