މިއީ ހދ. މަކުނުދޫ ބަނދަރު ހުޅުވުމުގެ ރަސްމިއްޔާތުގައި ބައިވެރި ވުމުގެ ގޮތުން، 2007 ވަނައަހަރުގެ އޮގަސްޓުމަހުގެ 2 ވީ ހޯމަ ދުވަހު ހދ. ކުޅުދުއްފުށިން ފުރައިގެން ހދ. މަކުނުދުއަށް ކުރި ދަތުރުގެ ދަތުރުމައްޗެވެ. “ޒަލްޒަލާ” ދޯނީގައި ކުރި މިދަތުރުގައި އަޅުގަނޑު (އިދުރީސް އަލީ / ނޫވިލާގެ، ހދ. ކުޅުދުއްފުށި) ގެ އިތުރުން ހދ. އަތޮޅު އަތޮޅު އޮފީހުގެ ހަތް މުވައްޒަފަކު ބައިވެރި ވިއެވެ. އޭގެތެރޭގައި އަތޮޅު ކައުންސިލަރުވެސް ހިމެނެއެވެ. މިދަތުރަށް އަޅުގަނޑުމެން ފުރީ އެދުވަހުގެ ހެނދުނު 9:25 ގައެވެ.
ދުވަހަކީ އުޑުމަތި ސާފު ކަނޑުމަޑު ދުވަހެކެވެ. ކުޅުދުއްފުށީ ފަޅުން ދޯނި ނިކުމެގެން ދަގަނޑުކެނޑި ފަރު ކައިރިން ހދ. ހުނޑޫދުއާއި މެއްލަފުށްޓާ ދެމެދުން މަކުނުދުއާ ދިމާއަަށް މިޞްރާބު ޖެހިއިރު، އަޅުގަނޑުމެން ތިބީ، ޖެހެމުން ދިޔަ ނަލަ ވައިރޯޅިގައި، ފެންނަމުންދާ ގުދުރަތުގެ ހިތްގައިމު މަންޒަރުތަކުން ހިތް އުފާކުރާށެވެ. ރާޅުތަކުގެ ބިރުވެރިކަމުން މިންޖުވެފައިވާ ކަނޑުގައި، ދޯނި ދުވަމުން ދަނީ އަތަކަށް ހެލިވެސް ނުލައެވެ.
ގަޑިން ދިހައެއްޖަހައި އެހަައިކަންހާއިރު، ދޯނިތެރޭގައި ހޭލަމޭލައަށް މީހުން ހަރަކާތްތެރިވާން ފަށައިފިއެވެ. ޚަބަރު ބަލައިލިއިރު، ނުވަގަޑީ ޖޫސް ތައްޔާރުކުރުމުގެ މަސައްކަތުގައި ފަޅުވެރި ކުދިން ހަރަކާތްތެރި ވަނީއެވެ. ޖޫހާއެކު ހުރީ ބިސްކޯދެވެ. އަޅުގަނޑު ވެސް އޮފީސް އެހެން މީހުންނާއެކު ގޮސް، ޖޫސްބޮއި ނިންމާލައިގެން އައިސް ގޮނޑީގައި ޖައްސައިލީ ފޮތެއް ހިފައިގެންނެވެ. އޭރު އޮފީސް ދެ ކުއްޖަކު ކޮޅުފަސްކޮޅުގައި ނަނެއް ދޫކޮށްގެން އާފުރިލަ ފުރިލައި ތިއްބެވެ. ކައުންސިލަރާއި އަދިވެސް ދެ މުވައްޒަފަކު ދިރުނބާކޮޅުގައި ކޮންމެވެސް އޮލަ ވާހަކައެއްގައި ތިއްބެވެ.
ކުއްލިއަކަށް ދޯންޏަށް ވަރުގަދަ ލޮޅުމެއް އަރައިފިއެވެ. ހަމައެއާއެކު ދޯނި ހުރިތަނަށް ހުއްޓުނުކަމުގެ އިޙުސާސެއް ކުރެވުނެވެ. އެންމެންގެ ހަޅޭކުގެ އަޑުފަށްގަނޑާއެކު ލިބުނު ކުއްލި ސިހުމުގެ ތެރޭގައި އަޅުގަނޑ،ު ގޮނޑިން ނުވެއްޓުނީ ހަމަ ކިރިޔާއެވެ. އަވަސް އަވަހަށް ތެދުވެ ހިންދެމިލިއިރު، ކަމަކުދާކަށް ނެތެވެ. ދޯނީގެ ދިރުނބާކޮޅު މިހިރީ އަރައި ހިކިފައެވެ. އެއްފަރާތަކަށް ދޯނި އޮތީ ވެއްޓިފައެވެ. ކުރިމަތިން ފެންނާންއޮތީ، ފެނުންމައްޗަށް ހިކިފައި ނެތް ނަމަވެސް، ބޮޑު ތިލަ ފަރެކެވެ. ތޮށްޓަށް ބިންދަމުން ދިޔަ ރާޅުތަކުގެ ޝިކާރައަކަށް ދޯނި ވާން ފަށައިފިއެވެ.
ދޯނީގައި ތިބީ ހުސް ފިރިހެނުންކަމަށްވާތީ، ދޯނި ފުންކުރުމުގެ މަސައްކަތުގައި އެންމެންހެން އުޅެގަތެވެ. އަޅުގަނޑު ވެސް ގަމީސްގަނޑު ބާލައި އެއްލައިލުމަށްފަހު، ދޯނިން ފުންމައިލީމެވެ. ކައުންސިލަރުގެ މަސައްކަތަކަށްވީ އަތޮޅުގައި ތިބި ފުލުހުންނަށް ޚަބަރު ކުރުމެވެ.
އަޅުގަނޑުމެން ކުރި މަސައްކަތުން ދޯނި ފުންކުރެވޭގޮތެއް ނުވިއެވެ. އެހެން އުޅެއުޅެ ތިއްބާ، ކޯސްޓްގާޑު އަތުވެއްޖެއެވެ. ކޯސްޓަގާޑުގެ އެހީގައި ދޯނި ފުންކުރެވުނުއިރު، މެންދުރުން އަނބުރައި އެއްގަޑި ބައިވެ ބޮޑުވެއްޖެއެވެ. ދޯނި ސަލާމަތް ކުރެވުނު ނަމަވެސް، ދޯނިން ދިޔަވާތީ، އަޅުގަނޑުމެން މަކުނުދުއަށް ދިޔުމަށްޓަކައި އެރީ ކޯސްޓްގާޑަށެވެ. މަކުނުދުއަށް ލެފުނުއިރު ހުރީ، އެދުވަހުގެ ދޭއްޖަހާ ބޮޑުވެފަ އެެވެ. މި ދަތުރަކީ އަޅުގަނޑަށް މިހާތަނަށް ކުރެވުނު އެންމެ ނުރައްކާތެރި ދަތުރެވެ.
