ހުރަވީ ދުވަހަކީ ދޮންބަންޑާރައިން އިސްވެ ހުންނަވައި، ހޮޅީންގެ އަތްދަށުން ދިވެހިރާއްޖެ ސަލާމަތްކުރެއްވި ދުވަހެވެ. ހޮޅީންނަކީ މަލާބާރުންނެވެ. މަލާބާރުން ރާއްޖެ އަޅުވެތިކުރީ، ޕޯޗުގީޒުންގެ
އަޅުވެތިކަމުން ދިވެހި އުއްމަތް ސަލާމަތްވިތާ ގާތްގަނޑަކަށް 170 ވަރަކަށް އަހަރު ފަހުންނެވެ. އެއީ ހިޖުރައިން 13 ޞަފަރު 1166 ގައެވެ. ހޮޅިންނަށް ރާއްޖެ އަޅުވެތިކުރެވުނީ ޚިޔާނާތްތެރި ދިވެހި ދެ ދަރިއެއްގެ އެހީތެރިކަމާއެކުގައެވެ. އެއީ ހަސަންތާޖުއްދީންގެ ދެ ދަރިކަލުން ކަމަށްވާ އަލްޤާޟީ މުޙައްމަދު ޝަމްސުއްދީނާއި އަލްޚަތީބު އަހުމަދު މުޙުޔިއްދީނެވެ. އެބައިމީހުން މިކަންކުރީ ވެރިކަމުގެ ދަހިވެތިކަމުގައެވެ. އެހެންނަމަވެސް ހޮޅިންނަށް ރާއްޖޭގެ ވެރިކަން ލިބުމުން، މި ދެ ޚާއިނުން ކަނޑުފައްތާ މަރައިލީއެވެ.
ހޮޅިން ރާއްޖެ އަޅުވެތިކުރިއިރު ރާއްޖޭގެ ތަޚުތުގައި އިންނެވީ އައްސުލްޠާނު މުކައްރަމު މުޙައްމަދު ޢިމާދުއްދީނެވެ. އެބައިމީހުން މާލެ ހިފީ، ހުޅުޖަހައި މާލޭގެ ބޮޑުބައެއް އަންދާލުމަށްފަހުގައެވެ. ރާއްޖެ ހިފުމަށްފަހު ރާއްޖޭގެ ރަދުން ފޭރިގަނެގެން ގެންދިޔައީއެވެ. އެހައިތަނުން ދިވެހީންނަށް ކުރިމަތިލާން ޖެހުނީ އަނިޔާވެރިކަމުން ފުރިގެންވީ ދުވަސްތަކަކާއެވެ. ތަންތަން ލޫޓުވުމާއި މީހުންނަށް އަނިޔާކުރުމާއި މިފަދަ އަމަލެއް އެދުވަސްވަރު ހޮޅީން ހިންގަމުން ގެންދިޔައެވެ.
މި އަނިޔާވެރިކަމުން ދިވެހީން ސަލާމަތް ކުރެއްވުމަށް ޓަކައި އިސްނެންގެވީ، މާލެއަތޮޅު ހުރަޔަށް ނިސްބަތްވެވަޑައިގަންނަވާ މުލީގޭ ދޮންހަސަންމަނިކުފާނު ނުވަތަ ދޮންބަންޑާރައިންނެވެ. ދޮންބަންޑާރައިންނަކީ މާލެއަތޮޅު ހުރާ އަލްވަޒީރު މުޙައްމަދު ފާމުލަދޭރި މަނިކުފާނުގެ ދަރިކަލެކެވެ. މައިކަނބަލަކީ މ. މުލީ ޚަތީބު މުޙައްމަދުގެ ދަރިކަނބަލުން ކުޑަ އާމިނަތު މަނިކުފާނެވެ. ދޮންބަންޑާރައިންގެ ބައްޕާފުޅަކީ އޭރު ރަސްކަމުގައި ހުންނެވި މުކައްރަމު މުޙަންމަދު ޢިމާދުއްދީންގެ އެންމެ އިސް އެހީތެރިޔާއެވެ. ހޮޅީން ރަސްގެފާނު އަތުލައިގަނެގެން ގެންދިޔައިރު، ދޮންބަންޑާރައިންގެ ބައްޕާފުޅު ވެސް ގެންދިޔައެވެ. އޭނާ އަވަހާރަވީ ހޮޅީންގެ އަތްދަށުގައި ހައްޔަރުވެފައި ހުންނަވަނިކޮށެވެ.
ހޮޅީންގެ ކިބައިން ރާއްޖެ މިނިވަންކުރެއްވުމަށް ޓަކައި ދޮންބަންޑާރައިން ވިސްނާވަޑައިގެން، އެ ޒަމާނުގައި ހެވިކަމަށް އެންމެ ކުޅަދާނަ ބޭބޭފުޅުންނާ މަޝްވަރާކުރެއްވިއެވެ. ގާތްގަނޑަކަށް ފަސްދޮޅަހަކަށް ހަނގުބޭކަލުންގެ މައްޗަށް އެކުލެވޭ ލަޝްކަރެއް ވަރަށް ސިއްރިއްޔާތުގައި ތައްޔާރުކުރެއްވިއެވެ. އެއަށްފަހު ހޮޅީންގެ ވެރިކަމުގެ ކިއްލާކަމަށްވާ “ވެޔޮދޮށުގަނޑުވަރަށް” ވެދެވަޑައިގަންނަވާނޭ ގޮތަކާމެދު މަޝްވަރާ ކުރެއްވުމަށްފަހު، ނިންމެވީ ގަނޑުވަރުގެ ދޮރުވާނާ ވާހަކަދައްކަވައި، ވަދެވޭނެ އިންތިޒާމު ތަނަވަސް ކުރެއްވުމަށެވެ. އޭރު ހޮޅީންގެ އާދައަކީ، ރޭގަނޑު ރާބޮއި މަޖާކުރާން ތިބެފައި، މުނާޖާ ގޮވުމުން ނިދުމެވެ. އެހެންކަމުން މުނާޖާ ގޮވާމީހާއާ ވާހަކަ ދައްކައިގެން އެ ރޭގެ މުނާޖާ ގޮވުން ވެސް އަވަސްކުރުމަށް ރޭވުނެވެ.
އެއީ ހިޖުރީ ސަނަތުން 1166 ވަނަ އަހަރުގެ ޖުމާދަލް އާޚިރުމަހުގެ 3 ވީ ރެއެވެ. ކަނޑައެޅި ރޭވިފައިވާ ގޮތުގެ މަތީން މުނާޖާގޮވާ މީހާ އެކަންކުރާން ޖެހޭ ވަގުތަށްވުރެ އަވަހަށް އެކަން ކޮށްފިއެވެ. އެއާއެކު ހޮޅީންގެ ވެރިއަކަށް ހުރި މުޙައްމަދު ބަންޑޯރާއި، ގަނޑުވަރުގައި ތިބި އެހެންވެސް މީހުން، މަޖާކުރުން ހުއްޓާލުމަށްފަހު ނިދައިފިއެވެ. އޭރު ދޮންބަންޑާރައިންނާއި އޭނާގެ ލަޝްކަރު އޮތީ، ގަނޑުވަރަށް ވަނުމަށް ޓަކައި ފުރިހަމައަށް ތައްޔާރުވެގެންނެވެ. އެބައިމީހުން ނިދައި ހަމަޖެހުމުން ދޮންބަންޑާރައިން އިސްވެ ހުންނަވައި، ދޮރުވާނުގެ އެހީތެރިކަމާއެކު، ލަޝްކަރު ގަނޑުވަރު ތެރެއަށް ވަދެއްޖެއެވެ. އޭރު ހޮޅީން ތިބީ މަރުނިދީގައެވެ. ރާބޮއި މަސްތުގެ ހާލުގައެވެ.
ދޮންބަންޑާރައިންގެ ހިތްވަރުފުޅު ގަދަ ޙަމަލާގައި ހޮޅީންގެ ވެރިޔާ މަރާލައިފިއެވެ. އިސާހިތަކު ހޮޅީންތައް މަރައި ދިވެހި ލަޝްކަރު ހޮޅީންގެ މައްޗަށް ކާމިޔާބު ހޯދައި، ދިވެހި ރާއްޖެ އަނެއްކާ ވެސް މިނިވަން ޤައުމަކަށް ހަދައިފިއެވެ. ހޮޅީންގެ އަނިޔާވެރިކަމުން ދިވެހި ޤައުމު ސަލާމަތްކޮށް، ދިވެހީންނަށް އަމާންކަމާއި ރައްކާތެރިކަން ހޯދައިދީފިއެވެ. ޖެހިގެން އައި ދުވަހަށް އިރުއެރީ މިނިވަންކަމުގެ ދިދަ ދިވެހި ފަޒާގައި ވިހުރެމުން ދަނިކޮށެވެ. އެއީ 3 ޖުމާދަލްއާޚިރު 1166 ވީ ދުވަހެވެ. ދިވެހިން ފާހަގަކުރަމުން އަންނަ ހުރަވީ ދުވަހަކީ މިއީއެވެ.
ހޮޅީންގެ އަތްދަށުން ދިވެހިރާއްޖެ ސަލާމަތްކޮށްދެއްވުމުން، މާލޭގެ ރައްޔިތުން ފައިސާގެ ވެދުމަކާއެކު، ދޮންބަންޑާރައިންނަށް ރަސްކަން ހުށަހެޅިއެވެ. އެހެންނަމަވެސް ފައިސާއެއް ވެސް، ވެރިކަމެއް ވެސް ދޮންބަންޑާރައިން ޤަބޫލުފުޅެއް ނުކުރެއްވިއެވެ. ފައިސާ ހަވަރަށް ބެއްސެވުމަށް އެންގެވުމަށްފަހު، ހޮޅީން ގެންދިޔަ ރަސްގެފާނުގެ ނަމުގައި ޤައުމުގެ ކަންކަން ހިންގަވަމުން ގެންދެވީއެވެ. ޢަދުލުވެރިކަމާއެކުގައެވެ. އެއާއެކު މަސައްކަތްޕުޅު ކުރައްވަމުން ގެންދެވީ، މަލިކުގައި ހުންނެވި ރަދުން މާލެ ގެނެވޭތޯއެވެ.
މި ދުވަސްވަރު ހޮޅީންގެ ދުޝްމަނު ލަޝްކަރުތަކާ ތިންފަހަރެއްގެ މަތީން ދޮންބަންޑާރައިންނަށް ކުރިމަތިލައްވަން ޖެހިވަޑައިގަތެވެ. އެހެންނަމަވެސް އެއިން އެއްވެސް ފަހަރަކު، އެއިން ލަޝްކަރަކަށް ކާމިޔާބެއް ނުލިބެއެވެ. ކޮންމެ ފަހަރަކު ވެސް ދޮންބާރައިން އިސްވެ ހުންނަވައިގެން ހަނގުރާމަ ކުރައްވައި، ދުޝްމަނުން ބަލިކުރެއްވީއެވެ.
މަލިކުގައި ހުންނެވި ރާއްޖޭގެ ރަދުން އަވަހާރަވި ޚަބަރު ލިބިވަޑައިގަތުމުން، ރާއްޖޭގެ ރަސްކަމާ ދޮންބަންޑާރައިން ޙަވާލުވެވަޑައިގަތީ 15 ރަބީޢުލްއާޚިރު 1173 ގައެވެ. އައްސުލްޠާނުލް ޢާޒީ ޙަސަން ޢިއްޒުއްދީން ސިރީކުލަ ރަންމީބަ ކައްތިރި ބޮވަނަ މަހާރަދުންގެ ނަންފުޅުގައެވެ. މިއީ ރާއްޖޭގައި ރަސްކަންކުރެއްވި އެންމެފަހު ދަރިކޮޅުކަމަށްވާ ހުރަވީ ދަރިކޮޅުގެ ފެށުމެވެ. ދޮންބަންޑާރައިންގެ ރަސްކަމުގައި، ހިޖުރައިން 1174 ވަނަ އަހަރުވެސް ހޮޅިންގެ އުނދަގޫ ފޯރިއެވެ. އެފަހަރުވެސް ދޮންބަންޑާރައިން އެބައިމީހުން ބަލިކުރެއްވިއެވެ.
ދޮންބަންޑާރައިން 7 އަހަރު ރާއްޖޭގައި ރަސްކަން ކުރެއްވިއެވެ. ޢަދުލުވެރިކަމާއެކުގައެވެ. 9 ރަމަޟާން 1180 ގައި އަވަހާރަވިއިރު އަނބިކަނބަލަކާއި ތިން ދަރިކަލުން ތިއްބެވިއެވެ. އެ މަނިކުފާނު ފަސްދާނުލެވުނީ، މާލޭ ހުކުރު މިސްކިތު ސަރަޙައްދުގައި ހުރި އިބްރާހީމް ރަސްގެފާނުގެ ޒިޔާރަތުގައެވެ.
