ފަޒުލާއަށް ކަންފަތް ކޮޅަށް ޖަހައިލެވުނެވެ. އޭނާގެ ގަސްތަކީ ދޮންބެއަށް ފާރަލުމެއް ނޫނެވެ. އަޑުއެހުމުން ވައްކަންކުރުމެއް ވެސް ނޫނެވެ. ދޮންބެ ދައްކަމުން ގެންދާ ވާހަކައިގެ ބާވަތުން، އަޑުއަހައިނުލައި ކުރިއަށް ފިޔަވަޅެއް ނޭޅުނީއެވެ. ދޮންބެ ވާހަކަދައްކަމުން އެ ގެންދަނީ އަހުސަނާކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ. އެއީ ދޮންބެގެ އެންމެ ގާތް އެކުވެރިޔާއެވެ. ކޮންމެ ކަމެއް ވެސް އަހުސަނާ ދޮންބެ ހިއްސާކުރާނެއެވެ.
ދޮންބެގެ ލަފުޒުތަކާއި ޖުމުލަތައް އެތުރި ތަރުތީބުވަމުން އެ ދަނީ، މީގެ ކުރިން ދުވަހަކު ވެސް ދޮންބެ ވާހަކަ ދެއްކި މައުޟޫއަކަށް ނޫނެވެ. ދޮންބެގެ ވާހަކައިން ފަޒުލާއަށް އެނގުނީ ދޮންބެއަށް ކުއްޖަކުދެކެ ލޯބިވެވިއްޖެކަމެވެ. ވަރަށް ބޮޑަށް ލޯބިވެވިއްޖެކަމެވެ. އެ ކުއްޖާގެ ނަމަކީ ނަދާކަމެވެ. އެހެންނަމަވެސް އެއީ ކޮންތާކު އުޅޭ، ކޮން ނަދާއެއްކަން އެނގޭވަރެއް ނުވިއެވެ. ކޮޓަރިން ނިކުންނާން އޭނާއަށް ޖެހިއްޖެއެވެ. ދޮންބެ ވަންނާން އުޅޭހެން ހީވުމުންނެވެ. އޭނާ ބާރުބާރަށް ހިނގާފައި ގޮސް އެ ކޮޓަރިން ނިކުމެ ދޮރުލައްޕައިފިއެވެ.
ފަޒުލާ ގޮސް ވަނީ އޭނާގެ ކޮޓަރިއަށެވެ. ވަންގޮތަށް ވަދެ، އެނދު ހުރަހަށް ކަހަލަ ގޮތަކަށް ވެއްޓިގަތެވެ. އޭނާއަށް ވިސްނާން ފެށުނީ، ދޮންބެ ދެއްކި ވާހަކަތަކާމެދަކު ނޫނެވެ. އޭނާގެ އެކުވެރި ބިޝާރާއަށް ވާނޭ ގޮތަކާ މެދުގައެވެ. ބިޝާރާ އެ ހުންނަނީ ދޮންބެއާ ހެދި މޮޔަވާވަރުވެފައެވެ. އެއީ މިއަދަކު އިއްޔެއަކު އޭނާ ވީ ލޯތްބެއް ނޫނެވެ. މީގެ ފަސް ވަރަކަށް އަހަރު ކުރީން، އޭނާގެ ހިތް ވަނީ ދޮންބެއަށް ހަދިޔާކޮށްފައެވެ. ހިބައިން ދީފައެވެ. އެހެންނަމަވެސް ދޮންބެއަކަށް އެކަމެއް ނޭނގެއެވެ. ފަޒުލާއަކަށް ވެސް ނާންގައެވެ. އޭނާގެ ހިތުގައި ރައްކާކޮށްގެން ހުރީއެވެ. އެ ވާހަކަ ފަޒުލާގާތު އޭނާ ދެއްކީ، މި ދިޔަ އަހަރު ފަހުކޮޅުގައެވެ. ދޮންބެގާތު އެ ވާހަކަ ބުނަން ފަޒުލާގެ ކިބައިން އެދުނީ، މި އަހަރު ފެށުނުފަހުންނެވެ. ހިތުގައި ރައްކާކޮށްގެން ހުރެހުރެ ހިތަށް އޮބި އޮންނަވަރު ނުވުމުންނެވެ. ކެތްތެރިކަން ކޮޅުންލުމުންނެވެ.
ދޮންބެ އެހެން ކުއްޖަކު ދެކެ ލޯބިވާކަން ބިޝާރާއަށް އެނގުމުން އޭނާއަށް ވާނީ ކިހިނެއް ބާވައެވެ؟ ހަމަގައިމު ވެސް އޭނާގެ ހިތަށް ވަރަށް ތަދުވާނެއެވެ. ކުރިމަތީގައި ހުރެ ނުރުޔަސް ފުރަގަހަށްވަދެ ރޯނެއެވެ. އެހެންނަމަވެސް ޙަޤީޤަތް ވާނީ ހާމަކުރާށެވެ. އެކަމަކު އެ ވާހަކަ ފަށާނީ ކިހިނެއް ބާވައެވެ؟ އޭނާއަށް ވިސްނައިދޭނީ ކީކޭ ކިޔައިފައި ބާވައެވެ؟ ރަނގަޅު ޚިޔާލެއް ނާންނަނީސް، ނުގުޅިއްޔާ ހާދަ ރަނގަޅެވެ. ފަޒުލާއަށް އޮވެވުނީ ހަދާނޭގޮތެއް ނޭނގިފައެވެ.
ޖެހިގެން އައި ރޭގެ ތަރާވީސްދަމުގެ ވަގުތެވެ. ތަރާވީސް ނަމާދަށްފަހު، ތައުފީޤާއި އޭނާގެ އާއިލާގެ މެންބަރުން ތިބީ ކާމޭޒުދޮށުގައެވެ. ތަރާވީސްދަމުގެ ކެއުމަށް އިންސާފުކުރާށެވެ. ތަރާވީސް ނަމާދަށްފަހު އެންމެން އެއް ސުފުރާމަތީގައި ކެއުމަކީ، ކޮންމެ އަހަރެއްގެ ރޯދަމަހު ވެސް، އެ އާއިލާގައި އޮންނަ ކަމެކެވެ. މި އަހަރު ކަން ދިމާވިގޮތުން، ނިޒާރަށް ވެސް އެ ކެއުމުގައި، އަންނަނީ ބައިވެރިވެވެމުންނެވެ. ގަޑިއެއްހައި އިރަށް ދެމިގެންދާ މި ވަގުތަކީ، އެ އާއިލާއަށް ވަރަށް ޚާއްޞަ ވަގުތެކެވެ. އާއިލީ ވާހަކަތަކާއި ވިޔަފާރީގެ ވާހަކަތައް ދެކެވޭ ވަގުތެކެވެ. އެހެންނަމަވެސް މި ރަމަޟާންމަހު ގިނައިން ދެކެވެނީ މި ދުވަސްވަރާ ގުޅޭ ވާހަކަތަކެވެ.
ތަރާވީސްދަމަށް އެ ގޭގައި ވަރަށް ރަނގަޅަށް ކެއުން ތައްޔާރު ކުރެއެވެ. އެ ވަގުތަކީ ތައުފީޤުގެ ގާތް މިތުރުން ވެސް އެ ގެއަށް ޒިޔާރަތްކުރާ ވަގުތެކެވެ. އެހެންނަމަވެސް މި އަހަރުގެ ރަމަޟާން މަސް މުޅިން ތަފާތެވެ. އެންމެން ގޭބަންދުގައި ތިބި ދުވަސްވަރަކަށްވާތީ، އެއްވެސް މީހަކަށް ދައުވަތެއް ނުދެވެއެވެ. އަނެއްކޮޅުން މުޅި ދުނިޔެ ހުއްޓުމަކަށް އައިސްފައި ވަނިކޮށް އައި ރަމަޟާން މަހަކަށްވާތީ، ސުފުރާމަތި ވެސް ކުރީ އެހެން އަހަރުތަކާ އަޅައިބަލާއިރު ވަރަށް ފަޅެވެ.
“ތައުފީޤު. މިހެން ތިއްބާ މި މަސް ވެސް މި ނިމުނީ.” ދައްކަމުން ދިޔަ ވާހަކައިގެ ތެރެއިން ނިޒާރު ބުނެލިއެވެ.
“އާނ! މިއަދު ތިރީސް! މާދަމާ އެކެއް. މިހެން ތަޅުލެވިފައި ތިއްބާ އޭޕްރީލް މަސް ނިމި، މޭ މަސް ފެށުނީ.” ނިޒާރުގެ ވާހަކައަށް ތައުފީޤު އިތުރުކޮށްލިއެވެ. “ދަރިފުޅާ! ފިހާރައިގެ ކުދިންގެ މުސާރައިގެ ކަންކަން މާ ލަސްނުކޮށް ހަމަޖައްސައްޗޭ! އެއް ދުވަސް ވެސް ލަސްވެއްޖިއްޔާ އެ ކުދިންނަށް ވެސް ވަރަށް ދަތިވާނެ!”
“ޝީޓު ތައްޔާރުކޮށްފަ މިހާރު އޮންނާނީ. އިރާދަކުރެއްވިއްޔާ މާދަމާ މުސާރައިގެ ފައިސާ އެންމެންނަށް ޓްރާންސްފަރ ކޮށްލާނަން.”
“ދެ ފިހާރައިގެ ކުލި ވެސް ދައްކަންޖެހޭނެއެއްނު. ފިހާރައިގެ އެކައުންޓުގެ ބެލެންސްގައި ކިހާވަރެއް ހުރީ؟”
“ސީދާ ޢަދަދެއް ހަނދާނެއްނެތް. ބަލައިލަންޖެހޭނީ.”
“ފިހާރައިގެ ކުލި ކުޑައެއް ނުކޮށްދޭތަ؟” ނިޒާރު އަހައިލިއެވެ.
“އެއް ފިހާރައިގެ ކުލި ކުޑަކޮށްދިން. ދޯ ދަރިފުޅާ!”
“އާނ!”
“އެއްޗެއް ނުލިބި، ކޮންމެ މަހަކު ތި ގޮތަށް ކުލި ދައްކައި، އެންމެނަށް މުސާރަދޭން ޖެހުނީމަ، ހާދަ ފައިސާއެއް ޚަރަދުވާނޭ ދޯ! އަދިވެސް މި ކަމުގެ ކޮޅެއް މެދެއް ނޭނގޭތާ!” ނިޒާރު ކަންބޮޑުވުން ހާމަކުރިއެވެ.
“އާނ! ކަން އޮތީ ތިހެން.” ތައުފީޤު އެއްބަސްވިއެވެ.
“އަނެއްކާ ވެސް ޞިއްޙީ ނުރައްކަލުގެ ކުއްލި ހާލަތު އެ އޮތީ، މި ފެށޭ މޭމަހުގެ ނިޔަލަށް އިތުރުކޮށްފަ.”
“މާލެ ސަރަޙައްދުގެ ލޮކްޑައުން ވެސް 14 ދުވަހަށް އަނެއްކާ ވެސް އިތުރުކޮށްފިއެއްނު!” މަދީހާ އިތުރުކޮށްލިއެވެ.
“އެހެންވެގެން މި ބުނެވެނީ އަދިވެސް މި ކަމުގެ ކޮޅެއް މެދެއް ނޭނގެއޭ.”
“ތި ހުރިހައި ކަމަކަށްވުރެ އަހަރެން ކަންބޮޑުވަނީ، ބަލީގެ ނުރައްކާތެރިކަން ބޮޑުވަމުން އަންނާތީ. އިއްޔެ އެ ވަނީ ފުރަތަމަ ފަހަރަށް މި ބަލީގައި ދިވެއްސަކު މަރުވެފަ. ކުރިމަތީގައި މި އޮތީ ކޮންފަދަ ބިރުވެރި ދުވަސްތަކެއްކަމެއް ވެސް ނޭނގެ.” ނިޒާރުގެ މޫނަށް ތައުފީޤު ބަލައިލީ ކަންބޮޑުވުމުގެ ނަޒަރަކުންނެވެ.
“އެއީ އުމުރުން ވަރަށް ދުވަސްވީ މީހެކޭ ބުނާއަޑު އެހިން. ތެދެއްތަ؟” ސުވާލުގެ ނަޒަރަކުން ތައުފީޤުގެ މޫނަށް މަދީހާ ބަލައިލިއެވެ.
“އާނ! 83 އަހަރުގެ އަންހެނެއް.”
“29 އޭޕްރީލް މި ވީ ދިވެހީންނަށް ހާދަ ހިތާމަވެރި ދުވަހަކަށޭ ދޯ؟”
“އާނ! އަދި އެހެން މީހެއްގެ ހާލު ވެސް ސީރިޔަސްވެގެން ވެންޓިލޭޓަރުގައި ވަނީ ފަރުވާދޭން ފަށާފަ.”
“ދިވެއްސެއް؟” މަދީހާ އަހައިލިއެވެ.
“އާނ! ސްޓްރޯކެއް ޖެހިގެން ބަލި އެނދުގައި، އެ މީހާ އޮންނަތާ ދެ އަހަރެއްހައި ދުވަސްވެއްޖެޔޯ.”
“މި ބަލީގައި ނުރައްކާ ބޮޑީ ވެސް ބަލި މީހުންނަށޭ! ދޯ ތައުފީޤު”
“އާނ! ބޮޑެތި ބަލިތަކަށް ބޭސްފަރުވާ ކުރާ މީހުންނަށް ނުރައްކާ ބޮޑުކަމަށް ބުނަނީ.”
“މިހާރު އެއޮތް ނޫސްކޮންފަރެސް ފަށާ ގަޑި ޖެހެނީ.” ނިޒާރު ގަޑިއަށް ބަލައިލިއެވެ. “މަބުރޫކު ދައްކާ ވާހަކަ މި ރޭ ކޮންމެހެން ވެސް ޖެހޭނެ އަޑުއަހަން.”
“އާނ! އުޅޭ ތެދުވަން. ދަރިފުޅުމެން ހާދަ ބަސް އަހައިގެން މިރޭ ތި ތިބެނީ.” ފަޒުލާއާ ދިމާއަށް ބަލައިލަމުން ތައުފީޤު ހިނިތުންވެލިއެވެ.
“މަންމަ ބުނީ ބޮޑެތި މީހުން ވާހަކަ ދައްކާއިރު ކުޑަކުދިން ނުވާނެޔޯ ވާހަކަ ދައްކާކަށް. އެހެންވީމަ އަޅުގަނޑު މި އިނީ އަޑުއަހަން.”
ސަމާސާގޮތަކަށް ފަޒުލާ މިހެން ބުނުމާއެކު އެންމެންގެ ގާތަށް ވެސް ހިނިއައެވެ. އެހެންނަމަވެސް ފަޒުލާގެ އެ ޖުމުލަ ފިޒާލަށް އިވުނުހެނެއް ހިޔެއް ނުވެއެވެ. އޭނާ އިސް އޮބާލައިގެން މަޑުމަޑުން ކާން އިނެވެ.
“ދަރިފުޅާ! ދަރިފުޅާ ފިޒާލު.” ތައުފީޤުގެ އަޑަށް ފިޒާލު ސިހުނެވެ. ބައްޕަގެ މޫނަށް ބަލައިލެވުނީ، ކީކޭހޭ އަހައިލާ ކަހަލަ ގޮތަކަށެވެ. “ދަރިފުޅު ކޮން ކަމަކާ ތި ވިސްނަނީ؟”
“ދޮންބެ މި ރޭ ވަރަށް ބޮޑުކަމަކާ ވިސްނާހެން އެބަ ހީވޭ!” ލޮލުގެ ކުޑަކޮޅުން ބަލައިލަމުން، ދިމާކުރާ ކަހަލަ ރާގަކަށް ފަޒުލާ ބުނެލިއެވެ.
“އަސްލު ވެސް ވަރަށް ބޮޑުކަމަކާ އެބަ ވިސްނަން!” ތައުފީޤާ ދިމާއަށް ފިޒާލު ބަލައިލިއެވެ.
“ކިހނެއްވީ އަނެއްކާ؟”
ފަޒުލާއަށް ކުއްލިއަކަށް ފިޒާލާ ދިމާއަށް ބަލައިލެވުނެވެ. ފިޒާލު އެ އުޅެނީ ނަދާގެ ވާހަކަ ފަށާން ބާވައެވެ؟ އެ ފަދަ ހިތްވަރެއް އޭނާއަށް ލިބޭނެ ބާވައޭ ފަޒުލާގެ ހިތަށް އެރިއެވެ.
“އަހުސަނަށް ވަރަށް ދެރަ ގޮތްތަކެއް ދިމާވެގެން އުޅޭތީ އެ ކަމާ މި ވިސްނެނީ.”
ނަދާގެ ކަންތަކާ ވިސްނާ ވަރަށް ނޫނަސް، އަހުސަނުގެ ހާލަތާމެދު ފިޒާލަށް އެބަ ވިސްނެއެވެ. އަހުސަނަކީ ރިސޯޓެއްގެ މާލޭ އޮފީހުގައި ވަޒީފާ އަދާކުރާ މީހެކެވެ. މި ހާލަތާ ގުޅިގެން އޭނާގެ މުސާރައިގެ 60 އިންސައްތަ ވަނީ ކަނޑާލައިފައެވެ. ދިރިއުޅޭ އެޕާޓްމަންޓުގެ ކުލިން، އެންމެ ލޯ ލާރިއެއް ވެސް ކަނޑައި ނުދިނެވެ. އެކަމަށް އެދުމުން، ވެރިފަރާތުން ދިނީ ރުންކުރު ޖަވާބެކެވެ. އަނެއްކޮޅުން އަންހެނުން އުޅެނީ ބަލިވެއެވެ. އެހެންކަމުން މި ކަންކަމާދޭތެރޭ ފިޒާލަށް މާ ބޮޑަށް ވިސްނެނީއެވެ. މި ދަނޑިވަޅުގައި އަހުސަނަށް އެހީތެރިކަން ފޯރުކޮށްދޭން އޭނާ ބޭނުންވެއެވެ. އެހެނަމަވެސް އާމްދަނީ ލިބޭ އެތައް ކޮޅެއް ބަންދުވެ، ޚަރަދު އިންތިހާއަށް ބޮޑުވެފައި އޮތް ދުވަސްވަރެއްކަމުން، ބައްޕަގާތު އެ ވާހަކަ ދައްކަން ފިޒާލު އެ އިންނަނީ ނުކުޅެދިފައެވެ. އެހެން އިންދާ ބައްޕަ ސުވާލުކުރުމުން، ފިޒާލަށް ލިބުނީ ހިތްވަރެކެވެ.
“އަހުސަނަކީ ދަރިފުޅަށް ވަރަށް ހެޔޮއެދޭ އެކުވެރިއެއް. ދެގޮތެއްނުވާ ރަޙުމަތްތެރިއެއް. ރަޙުމަތްތެރިއަކަށް ތި ކަހަލަ ހާލަތެއް ދިމާވީމަ ޖެހޭނެ އެހީތެރިވެވެން އޮތް މިންވަރަކުން އެހީތެރިވާން!”
“ބުނީމެއްނު ޓެކްސީކުރާ މީހާ އުޅޭ އެޕާޓުމަންޓު މި މަހު ހުސްވާ ވާހަކަ.” ފިޒާލުގެ ވާހަކަ އަޑުއަހަން އިނދެފައި މަދީހާ ބުންޏެވެ.
“ނަޖީބު ދޯ! އާނ! އޭނަ ދެއްކި ރަށަށް ބަދަލުވާ ވާހަކަ.” ތައުފީޤު ބުންޏެވެ.
“އަހުސަނުގާތު ބުނަންވީނު އެތަނަށް ބަދަލުވާން. ހަމައަކަށް އެޅުނީމަ އެހެން ތަނަކަށް ބަދަލުވެވިދާނެއެއްނު.” މަދީހާ ޚިޔާލެއް ދިނެވެ.
“އެ ގޮތް ކިހިނެއްވާނީ؟” ފިޒާލު ބަލައިލީ ބައްޕަގެ މޫނަށެވެ.
“މަންމަ ވަކިގޮތަކަށް ބުނީމަ އެއަކަށް ދެން ނޯންނާނެ ދެކޮޅުހެދޭކަށް.” މަދީހާގެ ބުރަކަށީގައި ފިރުމައިލަމުން ތައުފީޤު ހިނިތުންވެލިއެވެ. “މި ރޭ ނަޖީބަށް ގުޅާފަ އޭނަ ހަދާގޮތެއް ބަލާލަބަލަ! އެ ތަން ހުސްވަންޏާ އަހުސަނުގާތު ބުނޭ އެ ތަނަށް ބަދަލުވާށޭ! މުސާރަ ހަމައަކަށް އެޅެންދެން ކުއްޔެއް ދޭނެކަމެއް ނެތޭ ވެސް ބުނޭ!”
“މުސާރައޭ؟ ކޮން މުސާރައެއް؟” ރުޅިވެރިކަމާއެކު ހާޖަރާއާ ދިމާއަށް ހާރޫނު ކަޅިއަޅައިގަތެވެ. “އޭނަ ފުރައިގެން ދިޔައީ އޭނަ މަސައްކަތްކުރި ދުވަހަށްވީ މުސާރަ ހިފައިގެން.”
ހާރޫނުގާތަށް ހާޖަރާ އައީ ނަދާގެ މުސާރައިގެ ބާކީ ބައި ނަގާށެވެ. މަސް ނިމުނުއިރު އަތުގައި އެންމެ ރުފިޔާއެއް ވެސް ނެތީމައެވެ. ނަދާ މާލެ ދިޔައީ، އެ މަހުގައި އޭނާ ފިހާރައަށް ނިކުތް ދުވަސްތަކަށްވާ ފައިސާ ނަގައިގެންކަން ހާޖަރާއަށް އެނގެއެވެ.
“މި އޮތް ފަދަ ރޯދަމަހު، އަތުގައި ހަމަ އެންމެ ރުފިޔާއެއް ވެސް ނެތިގެން މިއައީ.”
“އޭނަ އެއީ ދެ ހަފުތާއަށް މާލެ ދިޔަ މީހެއް. މިހާރު ތިން ހަފުތާއަށްވުރެ ގިނަ ދުވަސްވީ. ހުރިހައި މަސައްކަތެއް މަ ކޮށްފަ އެހެން މީހަކަށް މުސާރަ ދޭންވީ؟ ނުވާނެ ތި ކަމެއް!”
“ތިހެން ނަހަދާ!” ހާޖަރާގެ އަޑުގައި ހުރީ އާދޭހުގެ ރާގެވެ.
“ކޮންހެނެއް ހަދާކަށް؟ މަސައްކަތް ނުކުރާ ދުވަހަކަށް ލާރިއެއް ނުދެވޭނެ!”
ހާރޫނާއި ހާޖަރާ މި ވާހަކައިގައި ތިއްބާ، ފިހާރައަށް އައިސް ވަނީ، ލަތީފެވެ. ނަދާއަށް އެ މީހެއްގެ ފަރާތުން އުނދަގޫ ފޯރަމުން އަންނަ ލަތީފެވެ. އޭނާ އައިސް ފިހާރައިގެ ސެންޓުފުޅިތައް ހުރި ހަރު ކައިރީގައި ހުރިއިރު، ހާޖަރާއާއި ހާރޫނު ދައްކަމުން ދިޔަ ވާހަކަތައް އޭނާއަށް އިވެމުންދެއެވެ. ހާޖަރާ އެކި ފަހަރު އެކިގޮތް ހާރޫނަށް ހުށަހަޅަމުން ގެންދިޔައެވެ. ނަދާ އައިސް މަސައްކަތް ކުރަންފެށީމަ، މުސާރައިން ކަނޑާގޮތަށް ލާރިކޮޅެއް ދިނުމަށް އެދުނެވެ. އެކަމަށް އެއްބަސްނުވީމަ، ދަރަންޏަށް ފިހާރައިން ކާއެތިކޮޅެއް ދިނުމަށް ވެސް އެދުނެވެ. މިއިން އެއްވެސް ކަމަކަށް ހާރޫނު އެއްބަހެއް ނުވިއެވެ. އޭނާ ހުރީ ނަދާ މާލެއަށް ގޮސްފައި އެނބުރި ނައުމުން، ވަރަށް ބޮޑަށް ހިތްހަމަނުޖެހިފައެވެ.
