ޤުދުރަތީ ގޮތުން މެދުވެރިވާ ތަފާތު ކާރިސާތަކުގެ ސަބަބުން ވެސް، ދިވެހިންނަށް ވަނީ އަމިއްލަ ވަޒަން ދޫކޮށް، އެހެން ރަށްރަށުގައި ވަޒަންވެރިވާން ޖެހިފައެވެ. ﷲ ގެ ހެޔޮ ރަޙުމަތްފުޅުން ދިވެހީންނަކީ ވަރަށް ނަސީބު ރަނގަޅު ބަޔެކެވެ. އެހެންނަމަވެސް ގުދުރަތީ ކާރިސާތަކާ ދިވެހީންނަށް ވަނީ މަދުމަދުން ނަމަވެސް ކުރިމަތިލާން ޖެހިފައެއެވެ. އޭގެތެރޭގައި ގަދަ ވިއްސާރަ ޖެހުމާއި ބޮޑު ރާޅުއެރުން ފަދަ ކަންކަން ހިމެނެއެވެ. މި ފަދަ ކާރިސާތަކުގެ ސަބަބުން، ބައެއް ރަށްރަށް ފުނޑުފުނޑުވެ، ދިރިނޫޅެވޭ ވަރަށް ހަލާކުވެފައި އެބަ ހުއްޓެވެ. އެގޮތުން 1821 ވަނަ އަހަރު ޑިސެންބަރު މަހު، އުތުރަށް ކުރި، މަޝްހޫރު “ކޭލަކުނު ތަޅާލި ވިއްސާރަ”އަކީ، ތާރީޚުގައި ފާހަގަކޮށްލެވޭ ނުރައްކާތެރި ކާރިސާއެކެވެ. އެ ވިއްސާރައިގައި ކޭލަކުނުގެ އިތުރުން އެ އަތޮޅު ވައިކަރަދޫއާއި އަދިވެސް އެހެނިހެން ރަށްރަށް ފަޅުކޮށްލި ކަމަށް، ދިވެހި ތާރީޚުގައި ބަޔާންކޮށްފައި ވެއެވެ. އެ ރަށްރަށަށް ލިބުނު ބޮޑެތި ގެއްލުންތަކުގެ ސަބަބުން، އެހެން ރަށްރަށަށް ހިޖުރަކުރާން އެ ރަށްރަށުގެ މީހުންނަށް ޖެހުނެވެ. މީގެއިތުރުން 2004 ވަނަ އަހަރު ކުރިމަތިވި ސުނާމީ ކާރިސާއާ ގުޅިގެން، ރ. އަތޮޅު ކަނދޮޅުދޫ ސުންނާފަތިވެ، ދިރނޫޅެވޭވަރު ވިއެވެ. އެހެންކަމުން އެ ރަށުގެ ރައްޔިތުން އެ އަތޮޅު ދުވާފަރަށް ވަނީ ހިޖުރަކޮށްފައެވެ. މި ކަންކަމުން އެނގެނީ ގުދުރަތީ ކާރިސާތަކާ ގުޅިގެން ވެސް ދިވެހިން އަމިއްލަ ފަސްގަނޑު ދޫކޮށް އެހެން ރަށްރަށަށް ހިޖުރަކޮށްފައިވާ ކަމެވެ.
އުފަން ރަށް ދޫކޮށް، އެހެން ފަސްގަނޑެއްގައި ވަޒަންވެރިވުމަކީ، އެއްވެސް މީހަކު، މާ ކުރާ ހިތުން ކުރާނެ ކަމެއް ނޫނެވެ. އަތްފައި ކޮށައި މަށައިގެން އާބާދުކުރި ދިރިޅުމާއި، ކާބަފައިންގެ ހަމައެކަނި ހަނދާނުގެ ގޮތުގައި ހުރި ފަސްފުނިތަކާއި، އަމިއްލަ ހަށިން ދާ އޮހޮރުވައިގެން އުފެއްދި ދިރޭ މުދާކޮޅު ދޫކޮށް، ހުސްއަތާ ފުރައިގެން ދާން ޖެހުމުން ކަރުނަ ހިލޭނެއެވެ. ކަން މިހެން އޮތް ކަމުގައި ވިޔަސް، މަޖުބޫރުވެގެން އެހެން ރަށްރަށުގައި ދިރިއުޅުން ބިނާކުރި ދިވެހިން ރާއްޖޭގައި އެބަ އުޅެއެވެ. މިސާލަކަށް އައްޑު އަތޮޅު ނަގަމާތޯއެވެ! ދިވެހި ސަރުކާރުން އައްޑުއަތޮޅުން ބަޔެއް އިނގިރޭސި ސަރުކާރަށް ކުއްޔަށް ދިނުމާއެކު، 1941 ވަނަ އަހަރު، އިނގިރޭސިން އައްޑު އަތޮޅަށް ފޭބިއެވެ. އެބައިމީހުންގެ “ބޭސް” އެއް، އެ އަތޮޅުގައި ޤާއިމުކުރާން ބޭނުންވުމުން، އެ އަތޮޅުގެ ބައެއް ރަށްރަށުގެ މީހުންނަށް، އެހެން ރަށްރަށަށް ހިޖުރަކުރާން މަޖުބޫރުވިއެވެ. އެގޮތުން އެ އަތޮޅުގެ އެންމެ ބޮޑު އެއް ރަށް، އަދި ވެރިރަށް ކަމަށްވާ، ގަމުގެ ރައްޔިތުންނަށް ޖެހުނީ، އެ އަތޮޅު މާމެންދުއަށް ބަދަލުވާށެވެ. މާ ރަށެއް ދޫކޮށް، ގަމުގެ ރައްޔިތުން މާމެންދޫގައި ވަޒަންވެރިވީ، ހިތުން ރުހުމުން ބާވައެވެ؟ ނޫނެކެވެ. މަޖުބޫރީ ހާލަތު، އެ ނޫން މަގެއް އެ ދުވަހު، އެ ބައިމީހުންނަށް ނުދެއްކުމުންނެވެ. ޝައްކެއް ނެތެވެ. އެ ދުވަހު ގަމު ރައްޔިތުން މާމެންދުއަށް ބަދަލުވީ، މަޖުބޫރުވެގެން އެހެން ގޮތެއް ނެތީމައެވެ.
ރާއްޖޭގައި ހުރި ކުދިކުދި ޖަޒީރާތަކަކީ އެއް ރަށް އަނެއް ރަށާ އަޅައި ބަލާއިރު، ތަފާތުތަކެއް ފެންނާން ހުރި ރަށްރަށެވެ. އުފެދިފައިވާ ގޮތާއި ސަރަޙައްދާއި ބޮޑުކުޑަމިނަށް ބެއްޔަސް މެއެވެ. ބައެއް ރަށްރަށަކީ ދިރިއުޅެން ފަސޭހަ ރަށްރަށެވެ. އެ ފަދަ ރަށްރަށުން ފެންނާން ހުންނަނީ އުފާވެރިކަމާއި ފާގަތިކަމެވެ. އެހެނަސް މިއީ އަތުގެ އިނގިލިތަކުން ގުނޭލެވޭހައި މަދު ރަށްރަށުން ފެންނާން ހުންނަ މަންޒަރެކޭ ބުނުމުން ދޮގަކަށް ނުވާނެއެވެ. ގިނަ ރަށްރަށުގެ ހާލަތު ހުރީ މީގެ އަނެއްކޮޅަށެވެ. ފަސްގަނޑު ދެރައެވެ. ލަފާފުރާން ދައްޗެވެ. ފެން ލޮނެވެ. ބިން ފުރިފައެވެ. އުފާވެރި ހަމަޖެހޭ ދިރިއުޅުމަކަށް ބަލާއިރު، އުޅެން ކަމުނުދާ ރަށްރަށެވެ. އެހެންނަމަވެސް އުފަން ފަސްގަނޑަށް ވެފައި، ކާބަފައިންގެ ހަނދާންތަކާއި ދިރިއުޅުމުގެ ބިންގާ ދޫކޮށްލާފައި ދާކަށް ހިތެއް ނޭދެއެވެ. ކަން މިހެން އޮތްކަމުގައި ވިޔަސް، އުފާވެރި ދިރުޅުމަކަށް އެދޭ ނަމަ، މި ފަދަ ރަށްރަށުގައި ދިރިއުޅޭ މީހުންނަށް ރަށުން ފައި އުފުރައިލުން ނޫން ގޮތެއް ވެސް ނޯވެއެވެ. އަނބި ދަރީން ގޮވައިގެން، ދިރިއުޅުން ފަހި، މާރަށަކަށް ބަދަލުވާން ހާލަތު މަޖުބޫރުކުރެއެވެ. ނަތީޖާއަކަށް ވަނީ، ބައެއް މީހުން، ރަށް ދޫކޮށް ދިރިއުޅޭން ފަސޭހަ ރަށްރަށަށް ހިޖުރަކުރުމެވެ. އެހެންކަމުން ދިރިއުޅެން ދަތި ރަށްރަށަށް ނިސްބަތް ވުމަކީ ވެސް، ހިޖުރަކުރާން ދިވެހީންނަށް މަޖުބޫރުވާ ސަބަބުތަކުގެ ތެރެއިން ސަބަބެކެވެ.
